What good is a secret service (CIA) that can't keep a secret?
Pity the poor CIA. What use is a secret service that can't keep a secret? Agents of other secret services should be aware the the loose lips and poor tradecraft of the Americans put the foreigners at risk of arrest and worse. Here's what we mean:

Irish allies arrested meeting N478GS on arrival at Shannon:

The N478GS arrived at Shannon 1:30 a.m., November 29. Two Irish allies, alerted by NCSTN, went to the airport in the public viewing gallery, having already requested the police to search the plane if it arrived. Instead, police arrived and arrested the antitorture activists as the plane arrived at the terminal building!
The activists were released after about an hour.
As one of the activists stated, "It will become an important test case to challenge why the Irish police have not (been) investigating or searching these CIA planes."
In September 2006, The Chicago Tribune reported that FAA records "show that ... in addition to numerous visits to Europe and the Middle East, [N478GS] made repeated landings at a half-dozen U.S. Air Force and Navy installations, including Andrews Air Force Base, near Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Naval Station at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, where hundreds of suspected terrorists are incarcerated."

Jump To Comment: 1 2 3 4 5 6A few hours after the above photo of N478GS was taken at Fayetteville in the US, I handed a printed copy of the photo to Gardai at Shannon, while I was under arrest for observing the same plane's arrival at Shannon airport at 1.30 am on the morning of 30 Nov 07. I also handed them a copy of the complete 77 page report by the EU Parliament TDIP committee investigating extraordinary rendition torture programme, in which this plane was identified as one of the more notorious CIA rendition planes. The network of peace activists is widening internationally, but we urgently need to deepen this network in Ireland right now. Get involved, dont stand idly by while evil is perpetrated in our name.

“It is un-American,” Fager said of the rendition program. “You don’t treat children of God this way. Americans don’t treat people this way.”
Fager said the planes leaving Fayetteville usually fly to Bangor, Maine, then on to Shannon Airport in Ireland and then disappear before coming back the same way.
Fager knows that most of the Centurion flights he and other plane-spotters have documented have not been returning from rendition missions. But he said he believes they have established that the company is connected.

The Torture Industrial Complex includes a wide range of facilities and activities — it is by no means limited only to kidnap-torture “rendition” flights.
Moreover, Centurion flight logs obtained by NC Stop Torture Now document that many of their flights land at one airport in England or Ireland, then drop from sight for several days, only to reappear at a different airport for a return flight to Fayetteville.

N478GS the L3 IS LLC plane that stopped at Shannon Airport on the 11th of January belongs to the L-3 /CACI/TITAN groups of companies, with a similar Montana registered address as other L3 shell companies.
L3/CACI/TITAN is a information and intelligence company with many private military contracts.
