As a preparatory stage for Caoimhe's visit please spend 10 minutes reflecting on the following poll conducted by the BBC and ABC in Iraq
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/shared/bsp/hi/pdfs/10_09_07_ira...l.pdf
The room for Caoimhe's talk in UCC will be G7 in the Kane Building, next Wednesday, 5th December, 1-2pm.

Helping hand
If you build it, they will come. I Look forward to it.
First meeting will be in Sligo at 8.30.p.m.tonight Monday Dec 3rd in the Glasshouse Hotel, Hyde Bridge, Sligo. It is being held under the auspices of the Connolly Forum and the IPSC.
Dublin is second with a meeting in the Theatre in Connolly Books (Essex St.) at 7.30 pm tomorrow Tuesday Dec 4th. The meeting to be chaired by Raymond Deane of the IPSC is sponsored jointly by Anti-War Ireland, the Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign and the Irish Anti-War Movement.
All welcome.
Just back from the meeting in Sligo where Caoimhe and Declan Bree Gave us two hours of orientation on the subject matter at hand. It was a nice meeting, which didnt go too deeply into technicalities. Nice, colourful photos of resilient people dealing with a hard reality.
I suspect as Caoimhe gets up to speed on where the Irish psyche is regarding the Nahr al Bared tragedy and on the General awareness in Ireland of the details she will direct her narrtive a bit more efficiently.
Word of warning : Some AH(s) had gone around the town on the weekend and stuck "CANCELLED" stickers on a lot of the posters. It's not known if this was an isolated tosser or the usual frothing at the mouth shower of Zionits organising a " No freedom of Speech " action.
Check your posters in your local area and make sure they haven't been tampered with in such a manner.
Also send a computer geek to your local meeting who can help Coaimhe organise her slideshow and sound and films , she hopeless at it and we missed some of her material.
Over and out.
Well done Sligo....well done Rover and Declan and the rest of you.
Caoimhe will speak in Dublin, in the Theatre in Connolly Books tonight, Tuesday 4th, at 19.30. The talk is jointly sponsored ny AWI, IPSC and the iawm.
Responding to the Rover re: the Sligo posters, about 50 of our posters for the meeting in Dame Street were ripped and destroyed. This despite us having gone through the process and got permission from the DCC.
Sign of the times?
See you all there tonight
Does anyone have details of the time & location of Caoimhe's talk in Clonakilty tonight?
I understand that our Clonakilty friends have cancelled the planned meeting.
There is a meeting in UCC at lunch time.
A report of the magnificent meeting in Dublin last night will be here this afternoon.
If folks in Clonakilty can't make today's UCC meeting, Caoimhe will be back in the city for an evening meeting on Thursday week. Details:
8pm Thursday 13th December.
Victoria Hotel, Patrick Street, Cork
All welcome
