category national | crime and justice | event notice author Monday November 26, 2007 19:49author by Setanta - V.L.P.S.author email setantasetantaone at yahoo dot ieauthor phone 0877522838 Report this post to the editors

Legal Firms under the Spotlight.

Public meetings are being arranged all over Ireland by the 'Victims of the Legal Profession Society' for the public who may wish to voice their opinions about problem solicitors .

Members of the Victims of the Legal Profession Society are gathering together on Tuesday 11th.December 2007 in the Dolmen Hotel.Carlow. at 8.00 pm. The organisers intend that this public meeting will provide a platform where people can discuss alleged malpractice by solicitors and alleged abuses of their power.
This meeting will place the spotlight on problem solicitors. A sizeable crowd is expected, and help and advice will be offered to all those present before, during and after the meeting.

This meeting is a continuation of meetings which have been held throughout Ireland, and there has been excellent feedback from people who have attended other meetings run by the V.L.P.S.in the past.
While we hear about many bad and downright crooked solicitors, we would like to learn about good solicitors too!.
People should have every right to articulate their views if they feel they have not received a professional service from their Solicitor.
We say that you have nothing to fear,so long as you are telling the truth.

There is no liable, and no slander in the truth.

We encourage the public to come to this meeting and to speak out so that something positive can be done about 'problem solicitors'.
