Public Meeting: Organising for Anarchism in ireland

category limerick | anti-capitalism | event notice author Sunday November 18, 2007 21:24author by Workers Solidarity Report this post to the editors

We all enjoy the Sunday papers - war, occupation, terror, spending cuts, corruption and climate change. What they fail to present us with is a meaningful alternative, a response to the bad news, a project we can all get stuck into - one which can liberate us both as individuals and as a society.

We all enjoy the Sunday papers - war, occupation, terror, spending cuts, corruption and climate change. What they fail to present us with is a meaningful alternative, a response to the bad news, a project we can all get stuck into - one which can liberate us both as individuals and as a society.

In ireland the movement to build an anarchist alternative has gained ground steadily this decade but this work is still just beginning. In Limerick on Saturday November 24th the Irish anarchist group Workers Solidarity Movement will host a discussion explaining the work that we have done and how this can be expanded and built upon.

Aileen O'Carroll of WSM will introduce the issues, all welcome.
