Amerika: The Dog of War that slavers "Rapture" and those, in Galway, that strive to muzzle the beast

category galway | anti-war / imperialism | news report author Monday October 29, 2007 15:54author by Katrina - Food Not Bombs

"George W. Bush and Dick Cheney shouldn't be treated like criminals who deserve punishment. They should be treated like psychotics who need treatment (Ali Moayedian)

Yesterday, Galway Food Not Bombs in its ongoing campaign to attenuate the slaughter and war mongering of this world fed people for free in Shop street rather than murdered them with bombs. However, based on Fareed Zakaria opinion, next Sunday's banner will read; Tranquillisers Not Bombs : "the American discussion about Iran has lost all connection to reality. . . . Iran has an economy the size of Finland's. . . . It has not invaded a country since the late 18th century. The United States has a GDP that is 68 times larger and defense expenditures that are 110 times greater. Israel and every Arab country (except Syria and Iraq) are . . . allied against Iran. And yet we are to believe that Tehran is about to overturn the international system and replace it with an Islamo-fascist order? What planet are we on?." http://counterpunch.org/moayedian10272007.html

Yesterday, UN atomic watchdog, Mohamed ElBaradei, during an interview on CNN, urged the Bush administration to back away from its bellicose statements about Iran and confirmed that the International Atomic Energy Agency has no evidence that Iran is building nuclear weapons.

If the Dog of War can be muzzled through food, tranquillisers and conscience, Galway FNB will do the business?.

this is not a criticism but I don't really see the connection between US imperialism and giving out free vegie burgers to people out doing their shopping on an afternoon.

Cleaver, as regards our raison d'etre I thought the name of the group was self explanatory, anyways, in a nut shell, it's peace mongering, expressed through organic yummy eats?. Come and join us next Sunday outside Lynch's castle at 2PM?.

Just to note that FNB is not aimed against any one particular state or entity other than violence itself. We are the embodiment of an action intended to dissolve the barriers between people, to celebrate compassion and community.
