according to article in Irish Times. Thursday 26 October.
the French National Front racist thug Jean Marie Le Pen. has said that he would travel to Ireland to campaign for a no vote.
hopefully with his age we would not have to experience such a visit. how the neo liberals and conservatives would revel in this. with the socialist left advocating a No vote. people should be on the alert.

This is like arguing that because Hitler was a vegetarian there is something fascistic in vegetarianism. (The pacifist Gandhi was also vegetarian.)

Or it's like saying that because Beethoven was deaf during his final ten years he didn't have a note in his head.

I wouldn't put it past the cutehoors to engineer an invitation to Le Pen by some spurious group to speak in Ireland. That would tar a democratic anti-treaty campaign with the French far-right brush.
