In 2004 two members of the Critical Art Ensemble were arrested for 'bioterrorism' under the Patriot

was biotech.

Today in Buffalo Federal District Court Dr Ferrell pleaded guilty to lesser charges than 'Mail
Fraud' and 'Wire Fraud', which had replaced the bioterrorism charges which did not stick.

Bit of Backround:-

Dr Ferrell and Dr Kurtz were mailing germs which they used in their projects and educational
resource packages. Dr Ferrell is a survivor of Non-Hodgkin's Lymphona and is currently undergoing
his second autologus stem cell transplant in seven years. He thought a guilty plea would lessen
his and familial hardship than fighting a prolonged case by the US dept of Justice
under the Patriot Act.

The history is on:-

The removal of sections of Wiki on Pasolini and Radical Art Theory on the Ann Madden thread.
