The breaking of bread and US war machines
Again, Galway Food Not Bombs had a succesfull day yesterday.

Doyenne of the anti-war movement, Margaretta D'Arcy ( her powerful documentary on the Greenham Common protests; Yellow Gate Women, is shortly going to be screened by Galway Alliance Against War. details on Indymedia "Events,"soon?)
More of the same is planned for next Sunday at 2pm, outside Lynch's castle (AIB bank).



Maya and her doting dad, Martin, breaking bread with us - a breaking of a different kind was visited by her granny, Mary, on a US war machine in Shannon Warport when she disarmed the bugger with an axe.

Oi ! You're supposed to chomp, not toke the thing !

Nice one, Withnail and I is one of my favourite films, warming to see that Galway Food Not Bombs, besides idealism, is also graced with humour - of the mischievous "variety". Well done, keep it up.
