The monthly Isis Women e- newsletter is just released with its focus on International
Women's Rights and Issues. Generally these are related to trade and its effects on
indigenous communities as well as journalism that encompasses huge regions
around the Pacific Basin and further afield. This Month's blog section is studying the
Japan-Chile, Japan-Thailand FTAS (Free Trade Agreements) and how Japanese
corps are buying legal rights over biodiversity in developing nations- or 'biopiracy"
