Minister Gormley Stays Destruction

I am delighted upon my return home to hear that Minister John Gormley has stepped forward to use the power given him by the National Monuments Act to stay the destruction of the Gabhra Valley, if only for the moment. It will be interesting to see if this stay becomes permanent, thus salvaging what is left of the monument. We can hope for miracles, even in this disposable society we find ourselves in.
