Just as it was possible to organise harpers for Tara in Dublin, might someone now suggest that we organise the poets of Ireland to gather at Tara, or indeed in Dublin again, to protest against the Government's attempted vandalism at such a sacred site? I'd be up for it, for one.
There has been no agreement on a call out for PAs/Sound Systems, the solstice celebrations were marred by late night music and drinking. The press had a field-day and our only saving grace was the CST decision to make the solidarity camp booze free. By all means have a acoustic/religous event but do not ask for people to bring amplified music - it is not welcome on the Hill.
