Galway's Food Not Bombs going on and on and on.

Free food on the streets of Galway last weekend.

Just as every Sunday now, Galway's Food Not Bombs set up a stall with loads of free, fresh, nice and mostly organic vegetarian/vegan food last weekend.

We can proudly anounce that with every event amount of the money involved in feeding the hungry ones is getting less and less. Widening our circle we are now able to get free photocopying, we don't need to use any transportation other than a trolley and sacks of bread and vegetables that are collected during Friday and Saturday are always more than enough to keep us going for couple of hours under a heavy siege ;).
However, every weekend rice and dry spices is always needs to be bought. Any ideas who could donate these things?
Also, we are looking through options for making a nice big Food Not Bombs fabric sign. Consultations about which material to use and where to get it in Galway would be highly welcome:).

At last! the troll imprimatur and street cred we were seeking; Food Not Bombs, as it were never, never believe anything until it's officially denied, never believe we are doing good until we attract the malodorous attentions of the trolls, then, bejaysus, we know we've cracked it.

Naw, "S2S" you ain't one of us, but 3 Shell to Sea activists, including my good self, are in FNB with the scars of Bellanaboy police brutality and a recent arrest to prove it, that's why we moonlight/daylight with FNB - if your conceptual frame work is up to it; there is an alternative to bombs and state sponsored Garda violence, y'know?.

Have ye tried approaching the folk in the market on a Saturday, or any of the cash & carries or wholesale specialist foods shops, they're all listed in the phonebook.
