Because that is what right wing capitalist parties do sometimes. FF honour Wolfe Tone and James Connolly, now we have neo-liberal SF honouring Che. It is a insult to Che!

All kinds of people play the commemoration game. They try to bask in the reflected glory of the dead.

Rememberance Sunday obfuscates the imperial dimensions to some of Britain's past wars, as existing rulers somehow bless current and future wars with the ashes of the glorious dead.

I never go to commemorations state-sponsored or otherwise.
