From the 3,200 acre solar farm built on prime green belt farmland in Oxford to the 16 million Scottish trees felled to make way for wind farms, somehow we have to save the environment from the greens, says Alan Bunce.

You are doing an excellent job and must be wrecked, as usual retain all independent
tech and consider having copies made for legal support of people whose lives
have been turned upside down by the FF/PD/Green Government.

The EU committee will meet, and no doubt the tabloid press will be busy diverting
our collective attention with juicy laundry lists of Ms Larkin and other such concerns
of a press that is manifestly not free. The Green party will be called to account over
their lameness in the issue- even if Gormley's hands are tied, it does not excuse
his willingness to have people criminalised whilst defending the criminals
in the Dail.

There has been an incident reported from the bridge crossing the Gabhra River.

A Landrover was directing a large Lorry hauling 3 huge pipes for diverting the river when the Lorry went into the back of the Landrover. Mark Cleary , Foreman, was on the phone straight away and was heard blaming a female protestor on the route for jumping out in front of them. This is not the case and video evidence of the entire event will be uploaded shortly proving their lies yet again.

Statement – Campaign to Save Tara
– Diggers close to the new national monument of Lismullin

The Campaign to Save Tara has learned that there is an attempt at construction by the NRA at Rath Lugh and Lismullin on the route of the M3.

This afternoon, diggers and lorries moved in at both ends of the new national monument and at Rath Lugh, a promentary fort and outpost of the Tara landscape. There are attempts being made to re-route the Gabhra River. Protesters have stopped the work by mounting the diggers. It is reported that the machines are within 50 metres of the national monument.

This is happening as the Petitions Committee is to meet tomorrow (13th September) and as the Government is due to respond to the EU’s reasoned opinion (final warning). The EU maintains that the Irish Government should have carried out another Environmental Impact Assessment when the new monument was discovered. This was not done.

The NRA and the Department of Transport are acting in advance of what may happen in Europe. Ireland cannot cherry pick the EU laws that they wish to adhere to. There is a history of such premature activity in the past as when trees were cut down in the dark in January. The monument at Baronstown was destroyed in the middle of the night in July just before documents released by Minister Gormley revealed that Dr Pat Wallace of the National Museum believed that it was as important as the monument at Lismullin.

The Direct Action Campaign are attending the prison to ensure equitable treatment of
the woman arrested, and to ensure that her legal rights are met. There won't be any
comment on the issue until this is achieved. The rights of the campaigners in
arrest situations should be respected above all.

Thought a photographic record of yesterday at the Church with the PK
Show would be in order. As I was on the panel after the show began I
don't have many after that. Thanks to the others who took some for me.
The crowd grew and grew after the show began, someone said we had 100
people there.
I don't know.
We got some more private shots as well and I'm not releasing them publicly.
