The clouds broke for the fortnightly bin collection.
Residents came out in force to put their waste in the bin lorries in the now fortnightly service. The other week is brown bin day, when food waste is collected, but guess where it goes? The same place as the Black Bin waste!
Resistance to the bin tax hasn't gone away you know. Quietly, in estates all over Dublin communities have developed their own strategies to resist Dublin City Council's attempt to charge and then privitise something people have already paid for. These images are from one community who still are resisting.
