Why does the article specifically mention the Iranian regieme when one of the individuals pictured on the placards is imprisoned by the TURKISH regieme ?
The protest took place outside the Iranian embassy in Blackrock. The two journalists were sentenced in Iranian Kurdistan and are both being held in Iran according to news reports (see link).
Thanks
Is there an organisation for Kurdish people in Ireland or was it just organised by word of mouth ?

Solidarity comrades!
Congrats on the protest. While all Western aggression must be opposed we should also support those who are fighting against the Iranian Junta. Iran occupies part of Kurdistan just as Turkey, Iraq and Syria do.
