This morning cork shell to sea members staged a promenade and vigil along the Quays and on the two main bridges in the city centre. The theme was grim, protesters wore black gowns, carried "deathly" Erris water bottles and regailed passers by with depressing stories of recent events in Erris.

During this mornings rush hour cork shell to sea members who were unable to travel to Erris to offer solidarity at this mornings picket staged a vigil and grim promenade on the two main bridges in the city centre in Cork.
Taking advantage of the date friday the 13th and the fairly miserable weather the theme was bleak. Support was good plenty of horn honking and people stopping to show spport, ask questions and read the various leaflets. Black humour proved a usefull strategy for drawing peoples attention and putting a smile on a few wet workers faces !
