24/7 Monitoring of Lismullen and Rath Lugh National Monuments

A TaraWatch meeting at the old church on the Hill of Skryne at 2.00 pm on Saturday marks the beginning of round the clock monitoring of the national monuments at Rath Lugh. Come and help us protect these endangered sites.

TaraWatch has been running a Tara Protection Pledge drive over the last week, asking people to make submissions to Minister Roche and to promise to protect the national monument at Lismullen, should it be threatened. Please see: http://www.petitiononline.com/mod_perl/signed.cgi?tara101

We are now calling on the public to join us in 24 hour monitoring of the newly discovered national monument at Lismullen, and the national monument of Rath Lugh, which has already been compromised by roadworks.

Bring camping equipment, cameras, and so on to the meeting.

Well done guys. This could not have come at a more crucial time. With those two monuments, there is so much to protect. Good to see some proper organisation here.
