The Green Blob hasn't spent countless billions of dollars only to abandon the mission when the going gets tough. Expect the pushback after Reform's sweeping victories last week to be strong and venomous, says Ben Pile.

In the wake of the Supreme Court's landmark trans ruling, is a Gender Recognition Certificate worth anything at all? Not really, says Mark Ellse ? but our muddled politicians won't be in a rush to admit they messed up.

Given the choice between two weak tea bags, Australia elected a weak tea bag, says Rebekah Barnett. Liberal leader Peter Dutton even lost his seat, a reflection of his hopeless deficit in personality and policies.

Over the past decade we have travelled the world participating in & organizing peace walks & runs, weekly vigils, non violent direct actions & protests, education & speaking tours around the world for peace and a nuclear free future. On these walks we have visited many nuclear sites and we have come to see literally that we are not just working on local actions – we are engaged in an international struggle.

Today there is an urgent call for global action to break the cycle of mass destruction created by the mining of uranium, the enrichment process and its use in nuclear power plants, nuclear weapons production, manufacturing of weapons with depleted uranium and the dumping of radioactive waste.

We would like to invite you to connect with other groups who share your struggle through the Interfaith Peace Walk project. We will begin a 3- month spiritual walk from Dublin, Ireland to London, England to help link a nuclear free global community. We have invited and are expecting many people from different countries, nations and spiritual communities to participate in walking, speaking at local meetings, visiting local schools and supporting in various creative ways. The core group of walkers will walk an average of 25 km (15 miles) a day while stopping along the way to present the issues that are concerning us all locally and globally.

We are seeking support from a wide range of the global community and encourage people from various cultural, ethnic and spiritual backgrounds to come to this walk and share your struggles and stories with the people during this 3 – month walk. Your stories will inspire others to deepen the connection, which already exists in the struggle for creating a better world.

We believe this walk can bring us one step closer to a nuclear free future.

Please join us in taking steps to create a Nuclear Free Future.

I'd protest against nuclear weapons. Not against power plants.
