Seven tables, but a good night's fun and we raised a few bob! Cork Shell to Sea raised over €200 and had a bit of fun last Tuesday night at their pub quiz at the Spailpin Fanach bar. Last Tuesday night, Cork Shell to Sea held a pub quiz in the Spailpin Fanach bar on South Main St. Although the attendance was on the small side, with only 7 tables competing, the event successfully raised over €200 for the local group. Questions were set by yours truly, and I survived the night without being lynched by irate contestants. James read out the questions in the most distinct phrasing anyone has ever heard him use. The selection of prizes were such that everyone was a winner on the night, with every table bringing something home with them. Many thanks is due to all those who donated prizes, and to all those who helped organise the night.
