Jump To Comment: 1 2 3 4 5 6What revolution are OSF talking about? The one where they accept Brit policing and Home Rule, so that their leaders can have cushy careers. I suggest that OSF and SF have a read through some Revolutionary handbooks to see what their missing out on.
Surprising not to see Gerry or Martin at the launch...
How disillusioned are all these OSF activists going to be when they eventually fight for a seat in the assembly and find out just what a cruel taskmaster capitalism is. I hope that the fond memories of this book launch sustain them. Perhaps a framed picture of it on their office wall?
OSF and SF, square your stories or pack it in.
That would be a 'Marlboro light and a Blackberry' these days.
OSF revolutionary handbook:
a) Do an apprenticeship on white line pickets.
b) Buy a decent suit.
c) Get in the local papers as much as possible and make a good speech at an Ard Fheis.
d) Get selected as a candidate.
e) Get photographed with Gerry prior to election.
f) Win a seat and join a coalition government with DUP/FF (delete as appropriate).
No mention of the booklet or launch on their website.
