Andy Pyle to speak on the subject of "MEETING SOCIETY'S OIL AND GAS ENERGY NEEDS AND ENVIRONMENTAL EXPECTATIONS "
Meet at the Gresham Hotel, 1.15PM when the conference delegates are coming back from lunch to network, Shell to Sea will be there to give them an opportunity to discuss standards and expectations with us.
Andy Pyle is the sinister head of Shell Exploitation Ireland. We haven't seen much of him since Shell started using locally hired PR people like John Egan to give the impression of Irish support for their crazy pipeline and refinery scheme.
Rumour has it that he was once in the British Army as a member of some sort of special force. It is even said he saw previous service in Ireland during the period of armed conflict.
Perhaps that's why he was so happy to see five Irish men locked up for three months iin 2005?
Let's hope he stops to tell us a few war stories on the way in to the Gresham where he will no doubt apologise for all the pain he is causing in Erris, like he apologised to the Rossport Five last year.
