The Mail submitted Freedom of Information requests to Britain's police forces asking how many arrests they had made for 'offensive' social media posts. The numbers are alarmingly high -- over 30 a day in 2023 and only slightly less in 2024.

The UK Met Office's excuses for its invented temperature data from non-existent stations get more fanciful by the day, says Chris Morrison. A fresh FOI release has brought forth yet another unconvincing explanation.

Joey Barton has been found guilty of 'malicious communications' offences. But on closer inspection, what he's really been convicted of is breaching woke neo-blasphemy laws, says Steven Tucker.

Last Sunday night we screened, the "Camden 28- How Far Would You Go to Stop a War?" See link
http://www.camden28.org/

This film deals with Nixon and Hoover's FBI attempts to crush the "Catholic Left" as it was known in the U.S. during the anti-Vietnam War struggles (late 60's/early '70's).. The movement, with its base in the decades old Catholic Worker (born 1933) and led by the charasmatic priest brothers Dan & Phil Berrigan, had been responsible for numerous raids on draft boards and destruction of thousands (not easily replaced given the technology of the day!) of draft cards by this time. The successful unsolved break in of FBI offices in Media, Pennsylvania that revealed the FBI's infilitration and undermning of the general anti-Vietnam wa movement (Counterplo) & New Left was attributed by the Bureau to the Catholic Left.

A small draft board rading group was forming in poverty strivken/riot wrecked camden New Jersey. The covert pacifist group was infiltrated by the FBI and the Camden 5 became the Camden 28 with multiple conspiracy charges. The film, including many interviews, is based around a 30 year trial reunion of the defendants.

If people are interested in borrowing any of the films we screen to show interested groups. Please get in contact with me
