I would guess that means that the chance of not guilty verdicts is high. Let's hope so anyway.
The 'lawful excuse' argument was allowed this time, though she may say a few words about this in her summation. The important thing is that it was allowed and the jury can make up its own mind.
First of all, good luck to the Pitstop Ploughshares.
Secondly, can anyone tell me if the Judge ruled against their defence going to the Jury this time, as on the previous two occasions? (By this I mean the argument that they had lawful excuse for damaging the planes because they were preventing a greater crime).
The Prosecution and Defence have finished their closing arguments.
The Judge will begin to address the Jury tomorrow morning at 10.30 or 11.00.
She will complete her address on Monday morning
This was one of the alternatives given to the jury and, after retiring to think about it, they decided to accept this one.
This means that probably the verdict will be given some time on Monday.
In my humble opinion, all 4 addresses to the jury were brilliant - and all different.
A fuller report on the day's proceedings will be posted later.
Peace Ciaron, and God be with all of you. I've been watching the goings-on from lovely (?) South Bend, Indiana, USA home of the "Fighting Irish" football team...
thanks again to the 5 for their action, which did have a big impact, it begs the question that ciaran brings up in this audio piece and that harry browne brought up at the ATGWU when kathy kelly and jimmy massey spoke; what are the rest of us doing......
sorry have not been able to get down enough, hoping for justice, hoping this all brings more action for further justice
