Free Speech- Use it or Lose it!

Ciaron O'Reilly, a defendant in the Pit Stop Ploughshares trial begining Monday in the Four Courts, will kick off an anti-war soapbox speaking this Sunday. Come and debate the issues of ongoing Irish complicity in the war on Iraq.

Ciaron got his start as a street speaker in the Brisbane free speech campaign of the early '80's (see link for pamphlet written at that time).......

Since then Ciaron has taken his soapbox to Berkely Campus in California and was a regular and Hyde Park when he lived in London. Temple Bar kicked off with a regualr free speech corner on May Day '03.
