URGENT ACTION
We are asking the International Community to please help us by demanding the release of Gildardo Tuberquia a member of our Peace Community San Jose de Apartado, Antioquia, Colombia. Gilardo was detained today at 8.45a.m. illegally by the police. Gildardo refused to be registered at the police roadblock in the district of Mangolo, (a constitutionally illegal action), for this reason he was detained and carried to the police station.

We demand the immediate release of our companion who has been persecuted by the Public Security Forces. We also demand that the aggressive illegal actions of the Public Security Forces against the Peace Community stop immediately. We thank you in advance for your help and solidarity in demanding that Gilardo be released immediately.

The Peace Community of San José de Apartadó
