Next Meeting

The James Connolly Debating Society is a forum for republicans and socialists to meet, discuss and debate the works of some of Ireland's greatest political thinkers, from the United Irishmen to Connolly and Pearse, right up to the present.

The next meeting of James Connolly Debting Society will take place on Thursday 9th March at 7.30pm in the Felons' Club, Falls Road, Belfast.

International Women's Day

The theme of this meeting will be women's role in struggle, as the meeting coincides with International Women's Day. The discussion will be based on texts by Countess Markievicz, Mary Reid and Nora Connolly-O'Brien.

Connolly was a marxist, internationalist - not a nationalist. It seems that this group is part of the Workers arty new kick to try bring neo-Stalinism to the youth.
