Defend civil liberties
The french state has banned any public demonstrations, brought in curfews, laws not used since the time ofthe Algerian struggle for independence in the 1950s. These measures will not solve the problems of exclusion, racism and poverty that have led people to riot and take to the streets across France.
Protest at the french embassy and demand an end to these repressive laws, an end to state racism and islamaphobia and public investment for the banlieues of France
6pm Thursday 17 Nov
French Embassy, Ailsbury Road, D4
