We started on the community garden and began by clearing a small plot of land. It's going to be a bit more hard work than expected/needed as there is a lot of rubble due to where it is. Removing concrete fencing posts from the ground, etc. We are meeting up again this Saturday at 12 (outside des kelly carpets at the phibsboro bridge, where porterhouse north is) for a work day, this is due to the Dublin Anti-Authoritarian assembly being on Sunday the 9th, though hopefully it will be a regular Sunday event from then on.

That's great news folks - well done!! The self sufficient revolution has begun...
i was just wondering bout the garden out in dolphins barn(D.B) as that been fully given over to the ppl in D.B and if it hasn't what has happened to all of the equipment and for the winter garden i realise there are some plants there but is it going to be heading back towards its former or are you going to keep on getting more of the land and make it unmanageable

Hi,
I have some good quality top soil to give away, I can bag and deliver it if you need it for the Community Garden, or if anyone needs some for their own gardens.
