Alice and her Playmates

Come and revisit childhood memories, but only if you don’t mind strange outdoor locations and a surreal taste. Watch Alice meeting her playmates and finding out what society is about. Does this naïve girl really need to grow up? Or are she and her friend in their pureness really more responsible than the adults?

If you are curious, come to this unique opportunity to see a psychological/political tale just below the trains. Probably the only chance you get is this Thursday. (August the 18th)

Alice and her Playmates is written and directed by Maiken Larsen. Actors are Martha, Declan, Rajiv, Emma, Paul, Brian and Maiken (from Holland, Ireland, Bangladesh, England/Nigeria and Denmark)

It’s on at Archway Studio’s, 13 Seville Terrace (off Amiens Street) at 19.30, and again at 20.30.

Costs are five euros…

How to get there:
Public transport: Bus 27 leaves you in front of the street! Very near to Conolly station and the Luas end.

Walking: Head for Amiens Street. When you come from the Liffey you pass Conolly Station on your right hand. Walk out of city towards the crossing of North Circular Road that goes over in Seville Place. On the corner there is Jennings Funerals. Cross the street. Just after Seville Place the next little lane on your right, just after some palm trees, is Seville Terrace. Go down to the bottom at the black gate: we will be there for you.

Parking: some -limited- possibilities in the street itself.

Just go to Lower Abbey Street or to Eden's Quay.
