Express your outrage at the execution of minors Mahmoud A. and Ayaz M.

Both boys spent the last 14 months of their lives in police custody where they each received 228 lashes prior to being hung to death on 19th July 2005.

The hanging of these 2 young boys in Iran should be of particular relevance to the LGBT community because the gay population continues to face the death penalty simply because of their sexual orientation.

Ban the Death Penalty in Iran.

Can anyone confirm or deny, for fact, that this was or was not for rape? Its an important fact in the case and needsmto be addressed.

author by LLpublication date Thu Aug 11, 2005 12:22author address author phone Report this post to the editors

It is indeed an important fact. But the death penalty is wrong. Full stop.

author by mmmmmpublication date Thu Aug 11, 2005 18:32author address author phone Report this post to the editors

if they both raped a little kid at knifepoint theres hardly likely to be any sympathy for them .

People should be informed as to whether they did it or not before anyone is up in arms over it . Surely theres other death penalty cases it would be better to highlight than these paedo toerags . Frankly most people would say fair play to the mullahs in this case .

I certainly would.

The photo brings it home how outrageous these murders are. Even in the darkest era of Catholic repression in Ireland did the RC Church ever stoop to the public execution of teenagers. It is a sad reflection on the moral vacuum these mullahs inhabit.

author by mmmmmpublication date Fri Aug 12, 2005 16:05author address author phone Report this post to the editors

there were no cameras on hand to record the brutal knifepoint gangrape of the young child . Therefore theres little sympathy for him or his parents here . No wringing of hands for that victim . Im sure their fear and bewilderment during their ordeal was quite similar to the horrific one they subjected their young victim to . Or maybe he was aking for it ????

Maybe if the executioners wore shirts and ties and administered a clinical injection it would be less morally reprehensible for some to despatch a couple of paedophile rapists . These people are not gay martyrs , they wre vicious sexualpredators who used violence and the threat of death or mutiliation to rape a young child repeatedly . Frankly theyre getting what they deserve . Fair play to the mullahs .

what the hell is Dave on about referring to Catholic repression ? these people are violent paedophile rapists . This is not a question of lifestyle choice vs Sharia law , its a question of the administration of justice against violent sexual predators .

By the way many young Irish teenagers were publicly executed on Irish streets but it wasnt the Catholic Church which did it .

First off, it is most cowardly of someone to write a annonymous letter...especially a letter full of such venom....mmmmmm...I'm surprised you can even write...you're probably Southern Baptist.....

Are you serious....mullahs...what's that? These are children for the love of God but then again I'm sure the god you believe in is as hateful as you...I hope your god shows you as much mercy as you have shown these children....mmmmmm...frankly fair play right back at ya...

What a silly question...do you honestly think a gov't and country such as Iran is going to tell you the truth? Heck, our own gov't hasn't told us the truth in years but somehow you are going to believe their gov't...if so, as we say in the South...move youself to Iran...Delta is ready when you are, and when the picture is shown of your execution we can can ask the same stupid question you once asked....murder is wrong regardless of how it is carried out...PERIOD!

author by Alpublication date Thu Aug 25, 2005 17:57author address author phone Report this post to the editors

Sorry Dave, I didnt realise that there is no crime commited in Iran. How stupid of me to ask if a case of rape did actually happen. At least I attempt to gain the truth.

You choose to believe that it didnt happen however let me ask you a question, do you think the government of Iran gives a fuck what you think? The answer is no therefore why would they bother to make up a story.

You choose to see conspiracy I choose to see 2 rapists being punished.

Now all together now, "to hell with the victim, lets all condemn the government and make rapists into heroes".

Al, you are misrepresenting what people are saying. The point is that the "legal process" they went through was flawed, so we can not be certain that they were the real culprits.
There is a second question involved, and that is the issue of the death penalty. Many would contend that it should be abolished completely.

author by Alpublication date Thu Aug 25, 2005 19:47author address author phone Report this post to the editors

J,
Completely different to examine the legal system. No one here has stated that, people are presuming on blind faith that they were completely innocent and its trumped up charges. I ask wheres the proof of this claim?

Its far more likely that they did commit the crime and therefore how about a little compassion for the actual victim?

The death penalty is a different topic. People are screaming murder but yet theres no suggestion of a suitable punishment. This whole incident is being abused to end other peoples goals.

Im not misreading peoples posts, show me where people show any sympathy for the victim. Show me where anyone provides proof of their innocence. I am the only person in this thread that has actually asked the question, everyone else just presumes so they can rant and rave.

I also condemn any state which lists apostasy as a crime, and any state which uses torture in the judicial or penal process and any state which uses execution.
I think "mmmmm" said that too. unless "mmmmm" is Al and that means Al lied about only using one name, but I'd like to think its not a lie, and Al has a friend called "mmmmm" who thinks the "mullahs" got it right.
