that none of these women it appears can count on the support of the Irish gay and lesbian community.
Maybe they're too straight or not fashionable enough.
Possibly if there was a wonderful movie touchingly and shockingly exposing their route to self-awareness and love with little flashback scenes to the old country and a cameo of the minister of justice speaking to a PD conference, made on 36mm with qiurky camera angles and a really good sound track the Irish gay and lesbian community would show support.

Can I ask you how you've dealt with the occupation of your country by a foreign power in the North of ireland, the use of this island as a military transit route by the USA and the redirection of the material wealth of the nation into the coffers of multi-nationals..?

or as I suspect you only think that a bit of colour in your neighbourhood is the cause of the destruction of irirsh culture...a few immigrants are soft targets.

Sorry but you have been brainwashed.

We have a small population and the need for immigration is vital.

Immigrants put more into the economy than they take out.
The majority of immigrants are "white" people like you just see the people of colour
as a problem..
The basic concepts of communism are to be found in the celtic christian tradition and the previous celtic community...economically the critique of capitalism is a "german" invention but as the late pope once said; true communism is christianity without god...

racism divides us, irish culture grows and assimilates..your culture of exclusion and ignorance is on the way out....

The majority of the Irish people have no problem whatsoever with the colour of a person - this includes me. The reason we voted yes in such large numbers was to stop the mass abuse of our immigration system by West African's and to a certain extent eastern Europeans - i.e black and white. The colour of a persons skin does not come into it as far as I am concerned. Every other Country in the EU changed its citizenship rules - all we did was follow their actions.
