![]() Encroaching on private lands This morning (June 16th) sometime before 9am Shell workers again attempted to enter private lands in Rossport , Co. Mayo, as part of their preparation work for the Corrib upstream pipeline development (this was also attempted yesterday afternoon, details to follow later). Permission from the Corduff and McGrath families, on whose lands the Shell were attempting to work , was not given. in the face of physical intimidation. The Gardai were called to the scene, and were forced to transport Mary Corduff to seek medical attention due to the stress of the situation. The Corduffs have in the last few moments returned from the doctor in Belmullet (20 odd miles away) and the situation has yet to be resolved on the ground today.
