rubbish on street

category dublin | bin tax / property tax / water tax | news report author Sunday May 29, 2005 12:14author by John Bruscar - Bib The Bin Tax

BROOKFIELD FED UP

FOR THE SECOND WEEK IN A ROW THE COLLECTION MEN HAVE LEFT OUR RUBBISH IN THE STREET.
Health Hazard.
Health Hazard.

By the end of the week our rubbish will be all over the street as the dogs tear the bags apart.

This is very unhealthy for our children and poses a severe health and safty issue.

Somebody at environ.dlrcoco.ie should investigate what is going on.

There are pockets of rubbish around Stoneybatter and Manor Street as well that have not been collected and are causing rats.

Just tell the rats its 'somebody elses problem'.

Or else..... dump it yourself.

Bin tax out.
Private collectors of rubbish are failing.
They are creating a health hazard.

For the second week in a row they ahve left the rubbish in the street on Brookfield Place, Blackrock.

When the dogs rip the bags open they become a health hazard.

It's time the Council went back to work and collected the rubbbish.

If you have not paid to have your waste disposed then you are littering and should be punished as such. if its a health hazard its because you made it so.... Stop whinging and help ur self....

Oh, we have paid. But we do not intend to pay twice for the one service.

perhaps the shinn fein and labour party hacks that voted for this double tax while pretending they were against it could clean up our mess.

a) it's not in the proper bins (you said you paid for?)
b) some of it, is clearly doesn't qualify for collection by the bin men, but would need to be taken to the municipal dump yourself
and anyway,
c) there's no evidence that you didn't put that crap on the street yourself as a paid up member of the O'Higgins Love In Brigade ....

SHAME ON YOU FOR NOT RECYCLING. AND WHY DON'T YOU CLEAN UP THAT GRAFFITI TOO?

Didn't realise Sindo hacks were fans of this site.

"O'Higgins Love In Brigade"

That would be Higgins not O'Higgins. Top typo of forementioned Sindo hacks.

I am a resident of Brookfield Place and if people had more pride in where they lived they would take their rubbish back in and not leave it sitting outside their house for a whole week, walking by it day in day out. They are the people who then whinge and moan.
IF THE BIN MAN DOESNT COME, YOU TAKE THE RUBBISH THAT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR BACK IN AND COMPLAIN TO THE RELEVANT AUTHORITIES.
