Part Of Belfast Weekend Of Dissent!

Fri 27th 5.30pm City Hall.

Belfast cyclists take to the streets to protest the G8 greenwash on climate change, pollution, & war & for more safer saner & more sustainable world. Fancy Dress. There'll be an opportunity to find out more about the cycle caravan, people cycling from Ireland, UK & across Europe to Scotland to protest the G8, & to meet people cycling from Belfast.

NI Govt policy was that there are no cyclists. Critical Masses changed policy and brought 25 million pounds of bike paths to NI.

is there a dublin crit mass same day or are dublin people making way up north

this year dublin hosts velo city

i had hoped that a good dublin crit mass would have been organised to tie in with it

not sure if its part of velo city or independant of but:
upcoming euro greenway conference in dublin 31st may

we are trying to get an urban greenway for dublin recognised and funding to have it fully imiplemented
