3.15pm, at City Hall Cork

Cllr Chris O'Leary is trying to organise a protest at the visit of the Chinese ambassador to mark the signing of a twining agreement between Cork and Shanghai. The ceremony is at 4pm on Thursday in City Hall, and he asks that people be there at least 45 mins beforehand, if possible. Similarly, there will be a ball in the Metropole Hotel that evening at 8pm, and he hopes that there will be protests there also.

I heard it was actually due to start at 3 pm. Just thought I'd mention that so people can make sure they get there early.
