Congratulations to RAR. Hopefully the award will follow this nomination. It is well deserved for all the hard work. I believe it is being held in Cork as Cork is the European capital of culture. Christy Moore is a patron of the award.

i got very excited for a moment and thought Ireland had got a metro, then I clicked on the link and saw it was just another news-site C/P-ing Rte.
still its very nice to get awards, especially if you don't have to give them back a few years later.

Congrats on the nomination RAR. The award would be well deservd. Metro Eireann is a multi cultural newspaper and is not a copy of RTE. It has regular columns by Roddy Doyle aswell as Ronit Lentin.

Cheers to residents against racism for been nominated for an award
Let us not forget the many people who worked in the backround against racism
before it became sexy and professional
anti racism is not a sexy image it is about the reality of peoples lives.
