Thursday 24th March, plane load of US troops in uniform and armed at Shannon airport, and suspicious executive jets in security zone.

Irish neutrality is suffering daily abuse at Shannon airport. Several planeloads of US troops pass through Shannon each day, going and comming from the ongoing war in Iraq. Due to security restrictions it is now more difficult to monitor the transit of US executive jets that are being used for the rendition of kidnapped captives for torture in countries with undemocratic regimes, taht are clients of the US. Today, at 9 am World Airways with its cargo of troops, was at Gate 42, while two executive jets were located within the special security zone. At least one of these, coloured white and with the serial number N92405, was there overnight. The other was a bronze colour, and both similar is size and shape to Gulfstream models. If anyone can identify these jets so that we can "rule them out our torture enquiries", please let us know."

If so please contact your nearest Garda station as they are seeking information on the transport of prisoners for torture through Shannon airport, and you may be able to assist them with their enquiries.

Senior defense officials have described the CIA practice of hiding unregistered detainees at Abu Ghraib prison as ad hoc and unauthorized, but a review of Army documents shows that the agency's "ghosting" program was systematic and known to three senior intelligence officials in Iraq.

A House of Commons committee faulted Prime Minister Tony Blair's government Friday for not saying whether it uses information extracted through torture in other countries. The Foreign Affairs panel also urged the government to make "strong representations" to the United States about the treatment of detainees at Guantanamo Bay. British citizens who have been released from the Cuban base or who were detained in Afghanistan have alleged that they were tortured.

"We find it surprising and unsettling that the government has twice failed to answer our specific question on whether or not the U.K. receives or acts upon information extracted under torture by a third country," the committee said in its annual report. "We recommend that the government give a clear answer to the question. The government should ensure that it is understood by other governments that the mistreatment of British nationals is unacceptable and will be met with appropriate action."

Ed, this is the F.A.A. details on yer plane, one o them anyway. i do not know yet if this is a shell but may do work on it tomorrow. only read this article now. hope that it helps.
You may also note that it says this is a 'fixed wing single engine' ...'cessna'. it does not look like any cessna that i'm familiar with,more loke a Lear.

N92405 - should that not be N9240S?
("N" followed by four digits then another letter)
Are you sure all the digits are in the correct order?

anyway the planes in the photos are definitely not Cessna 182 or 182N.

yep. i'm sure, the F.A.A. does not put a number after the reg.
the info was from the F.A.A.
i know cessna well, i used to fly one. if you can find anything else out it would maybe be helpfull. these planes in the picture are a form of LEAR JET and therefore i reckon the info is just a shell screen as it was before in the C.I.A Jet scenario... who knows, we just have to keep trying....

US “N” numbers are 5 characters long may be 1-5 numbers or 1- 4 numbers and a suffix letter or 1-3 numbers and 2 suffix letters.

Those are no more learjet or types thereof.
They are more on the line of UK made Hawker Siddley or Gulfstream.
For the plane spotters and other muppets who are boring the Hell out of everyone here on their plane spotting activities.
Get a copy of JANES Commerical aircraft,so you can know the difference between a Cessna and a Gulfstream.

Do you lot HONESTLY think the USA or anyone else for that matter gives a hoot about these planes??The CIA has been Looong in this game ,of changing numbers aircraft and even the component parts to mask aircraft identity.You really need to out to Arizona and fly over some of the airfields there to see how many aircraft the US govt has in contract storage and can activate within 24 hours.You have ZIP chance of proving anything.
Only if you get into one of those planes or manage to interview one of the crew will you EVER have a plausable case that will stand up.AND THAT is being made more and more difficult by the other anti war idiots who insist on breaking into shannon for publicity stunts.
