![]() update from court The prosecution case came to a close at 11.15am this morning. This morning there was one witness at the stand, detective seargant Houlihane, who went through his interview notes from Ciaron O'Reilly after the arrest. He also recounted brief statements that damien Moran and Deirdre made. The court is currently in recess and will return in a few minutes. . update at 2pm The case resumed about noon. Counsel for the defence questioned garda swift (a prosecution witness) about items found at the shrine erected by the ploughsares - photos of dead and injured iraqi children and videos about the effects of the sanctions. The jury was sent out while legal arguments about admitting these into evidence took place. The argument centres around the criminal damage act and the issue of 'honestly held belief' .
