Expose on collsion with loyalist paramilitaries in the killing of civilians.
A Panorama special programme - "A Licence to Murder" - will be broadcast tonight (19/06/02) at 9.00pm on BBC 1. According to the makers of the programme: "Britain stands accused of helping known terrorists to assassinate suspected enemies of the state during the 1980s. A major two part Panorama investigation reveals the extent to which some members of the security forces colluded with loyalist paramilitaries to kill British civilians in Northern ireland." The second part of the programme will be broadcast this Sunday (23/06/02) at 10.15pm. A full transcript of the first programme is now available on the PFC website at www.serve.com/pfc.

1 The UK is said to be a democracy.
2 The British government murders British (and Irish)citizens.
3 The Irish Governments (FF/FG/Lab/PD) over the past 30 years have helped to cover up this campaign of terror which has killed over 1000 people.
4 The Irish business establishment and the "free" press think that preserving "good business relations" with the UK is more important than the lives of Irish people.
5 The British death squads have murderd over 40 people in the Republic.
6 The British Army-RUC-Loyalist arrangement is exactly the same as the death squad system used in Latin America, only on a smaller scale. They share personnel, weapons, training and information. They are two sides of the same coin.
7 The Loyalists have long standing links with fascist/neo-nazi groups in Britain.
8 The elites in the industrialised world will resort to murder to stay in power, eg Northern Ireland, the murder of Native American and African American activists in the US in the 1960s/70s.
9 Every progressive group in Ireland and the UK must expose this terrorist activity by the British and Irish establishments.
10 Tony Blair, John Major, Margaret Thatcher etc should be tried for conspiracy to murder.
I am not surprised by the revalations in the programme. Nor do I believe that the RUC special branch or British Army FRU were engaging in the "operations" without authorisation from the top. It remains to be seen what will done, most likely another cover up and a few fall guy's may be found to take the blame.
