Meeting to launch campaign against EU Constitution.

there will be a meeting next Saturday, January 29, at 2.00 in the Teachers
Club to launch a NO campaign for the coming referendum on the EU
Constitution.

The meeting is being convened by PANA, The Peoples' Movement, and DAPSE -
representatives of which will speak briefly at the start of the meeting.

We hope to launch a broad-based and open campaign, based upon critiques of the Constitution with regard to the further militarisation of the EU, the
further erosion of democracy, and the enshrinement of neo-liberalism in European constitutional law. We see this campaign as coming from a Left / sustainability perspective, but appealing to a broad constituency.
