Saif Abukeshekhas has been an activist since 1996, in 2000 He was shot in the chin by the israeli military during a protest in ramallah.
In 2002 he joined the international solidarity movement (ISM) and since then one of the Palestinian coordinators for the movement and a trainer for non-violent direct action in palestine. He has been arrested three times, detained several times, hasselled and introgated each time travelled from/to palestine. He has done several speaking tours around europe and to Australia trying to increase the awareness about the palestinian struggle and the illegality and the brutality of the israeli occupation.
He is also the coordinator of the international relations for the highest national committee of the right of return for the palestinian refugee. He is now doing a tour around europe with other activists to talk about their struggle in the middle east, aiming to start a European network for peace and solidarity with the middle east.
