Upcoming bands get together to put on a gig in Eamonn Dorans on Sunday 23rd of January in aid of Irish Red Cross

We have yet to find out the full extent of the damage done by the Tsunami disaster but one thing is certain, most of the damage done can never be repaired but to the people effected they have no choice but to move on and try to rebuild their shattered lives and this is going to take a lot of money. Governments around the world have to their credit been quick to react with aid but even the dogs in the street know that they wont cover the entire cost, and yet again its going to fall on charities to step in and help in any way they can. All charities rely on donations from the public and they are stretched to breaking point with what will be known as the greatest disaster of our times.
Some of Irelands upcoming bands have gotten together to put on a gig in Eamonn Dorans in temple Bar on Sunday the 23rd of January, with all money raised going to the Irish Red Cross. The bands in question are Jove, .Delorentes. , Soviet Filter, Hoovers and Sledgehammers, The Handles, Mola, StoneOcean, Me In The Park, Rob Smith and Rob Crosbie. A lot of other bands have donated goodies so there can be a raffle to raise much needed funds. More info can be found here http://www.cpu.ie/modules/news/article.php?storyid=291
