John McDonagh is not a Viet Vet. He is the Nyc representative for Republican Sinn Fein. His colleague on Radio Free Eireann, William Hughes, has praised and recommended the work of Kevin MacDonald, a careet anti-Semite. MacDonald was a career witness for David Irving, the English nazi, in his unsuccessful libel action against Deborah Lipstadt author of denying the Holocaust. Another friend of McDonagh and regular on Radio Free Eireann, is Gerry McGeough the associate of fascist, Justin Barrett. Anthony Mcintyre has called Continuity IRA "brown shirts".
