International witnesses at Mary Kelly's trial to speak at public meeting in Ennis
International law and human rights lawyer, Curtis Doebbler and Professor Siegwart-Horst Gunter, expert on the effects of the use of depleted uranium, will speak in the Temple Gate Hotel, Ennis, Co. Clare on Friday, 22nd. October, at 7.30 p.m. All welcome.
International Human Rights lawyer, Curtis Doebbler, and depleted uranium medical expert Dr. Siegwart-Horst Gunter, in Ennis this week to testify at the trial of anti-war activist, Mary Kelly, will give a public talk on Friday, 22nd. October, in the Temple Gate Hotel, at 7.30 p.m.
Curtis Doebbler, an expert on International Law, has worked on human rights issues, and children’s rights, in many parts of the world including Iraq, Rwanda and Kosovo.
Dr. Siegwart-Horst Gunter was professor of epidemiology and infectious diseases at the University of Baghdad. After the Gulf war in 1991 he was the first person to make the connection between the rising rates of cancers and birth deformities and the use of depleted uranium in shells and tanks.
From Austria, Professor Gunter is a founder member and president of the International Yellow Cross, which helps victims of depleted uranium and chemical weapons.
