i didn't get a choice where i was born and nor did you: being born inside the brit state i suppose i'm a brit ny default. I never voted for any pig or queen or general to go fuck with anyone else.
in the six counties, its not my war, its not my act of oppression. i don't give 2 flying fucks about what people want to say about the sate i was born under, but i worry about anti-brit stuff.
Sometimes it seems to me to be some shite shabby nationalism dressed up as some liberation struggle.
i don't know who the "brits" are: who exactly am I - as a human being who can't help being from where I am from - or am i some sort of shit because of something some bastard did XX years ago?
its fuck all to do with me.
love,
cks
'Some Brit', I am sure you know that the British government has and keeps abusing the Irish republicans, if you don't support that, you certainly are not the 'Brit' protesters are talking about so why feel offended by their legitimate claims. It's hard for you, I'm sure, cos you place yourself under the official label of the British nationality, but man/woman, if you are genuine in what you say at the start of your message, hey, protesters are not talking about you.
Love you too
so this protest was jsut about remomving bases/soldiers etc from armagh
from the times today?
in the eye spy section joan brutons consider unacceptable in this day and age to see a van load of men with weapons and uniforms outaide the dail... the garda press office said well eeryone has the right to peacful protest but something like this does seem a bit extreme Despite some of the negative publicity we have received we want everyone to feel that they have the right to protest as long as they are obeying the laws and not creating a major disturbance.
could you imagine this outside downing street? he adds?
