Jump To Comment: 1 2that 'Solidarity with hunger strikers in Turkey' is an offshoot of the Irish Republican Socialist Party?
Ps I was also wondering what exactly is an 'F-type prison', if you'll excuse my ignorance
It isn't an off-shoot of any party. It is a group of people who came together after a public meeting about 3 years ago to raise awareness about the Turkish Hunger Strike in Ireland.
There is a page here
http://www.geocities.com/turkishhungerstrike/
which explains what the hunger strikes are about. Hasn't been updated in a while but all the background info is there.
