But why the obssession with photograhing gardai. A few would have given us the general idea, and I'd prefer more of the actual anti-war protest. Still, thanks for the photos. Well done!

The pictures of the Garda expose the state security operation down on the ground and provide us with an alternative view. After seeing the press images (postings) of the bush protests it really struck me how the media have almost completely ignored the security measures deployed. Did we see one photo of a Garda with a surveillance camera in the mainstream media, or in riot gear, or dogs, etc. etc? No we did not. Therefore, these pictures serve as an important remember to what the Irish media fail to cover.

I am enjoying so much looking at all the great protest photo's from Ireland.
You are a great people of hope.
Thanks so much for protesting our shamefull coorporate power leaders. And the media responsible for a kind of ignorance.
The poor find it neccesary to serve in the military where the pain of derision, humiliation, and racism prepare them for war. Thanks to you all.
