American activist singer brings songs of social significance to Cork
David Rovics plays a special gig at An Cruiscin Lan, Douglas Street, Cork on Tuesday June 22nd. David is in Ireland briefly on the "Serenading Bush" tour.
Only a few days before George W arrives, David Rovics songs will help keep the activist spirit alive. Drawing musical inspiration from Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger and Bob Dylan, Rovics articulates the stories, concerns and politics of the anti-war movement in powerful well crafted songs.
