supposedly this guy is looked at as being a guru, having inspired many of the trendy urbanists and architects of todays world
i asked if i could record the event and put bits onto the nearfm show, so far not looking likely but will still bring down equipment to interview people- intellectual rights.
we were trying to braodcast the "message" to as many people as possible in an attempt to further try to make the ideas realities
personally i feel the "architectural community" has built a high wall around itself and is not aware of or participating with the new networks which are creating excitring new urban process`s for political change.
im banned from archeire, irelands online architectural communication space, i protested against this in sep02 at an aai site visit, the placard i wore around my neck is now in the front window of the project arts centre

these issues will be talked about at the open feedback session in the project arts centre on saturday
this is free, open to all and will be recorded

the talk was very uninspiring
all this fuss?
a pity that no reference to the new urban systems and process that are emerging
pity the ark community is still talking to itself and not seeing all this exciting stuff
they will soon
little by little
im still banned

but im doing architecture all the time
and it is beatiful
all is temporary
buildings end, cities end, planet ends,
existence?
so therefor it is right to include short term artistic processs as urban events or systems- for me it is architecture, for many others its not
it would be nice if we could engage in dialogue
we will soon
not what you thought
